These terms apply to your use of the Zhatura website at zhatura.com. Please read them before using the site. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

Zhatura is a product and service operated by TAMILIAM AS, a Norwegian limited company (organisation number 937 718 772). In these terms, “Zhatura”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean TAMILIAM AS.

2. Acceptance

By accessing or using this website you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the site on behalf of an organisation — a school or chess academy, for example — you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.

3. What this website is

This website is informational. It describes Zhatura, an AI-powered chess learning platform operated by TAMILIAM AS, and lets interested students, parents, coaches and academies get in touch by email. Zhatura is in a pre-launch, early-access stage. The product described here is still being built. Nothing on this site is an offer to supply the product, a commitment to any particular feature, or a promise about when or whether the product will become available. Descriptions of what the product does reflect our current intentions and may change. Dedicated product terms, commercial conditions, and user account rules will be published prior to the launch of interactive product features.

Any figures shown about chess in schools describe the wider chess ecosystem and are attributed to their source on the page. They are not statistics about Zhatura or its users.

4. Early access enquiries

If you email us to ask about early access, you are asking to be contacted — you are not buying anything, and no charge arises. We may not be able to offer early access to everyone who asks. We handle the information in your email as described in our Privacy Policy. Please do not send us confidential information or a child's personal details by email.

5. Intellectual property

The Zhatura name, logo, page designs, text, graphics and photographs on this site are owned by us or used with permission, and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other rights. You may view the site, and print or download extracts for your own non-commercial reference. You may not otherwise copy, republish, adapt, sell or commercially exploit any part of the site, remove any notices from it, or use our name or logo without our written permission. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use this site lawfully, and in particular not to:

use it in a way that breaks any applicable law, or for any fraudulent or harmful purpose;
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system;
introduce malware, or attack the site including by denial-of-service;
scrape, harvest or systematically extract content or email addresses, or use automated means that place an unreasonable load on the site;
frame or mirror the site, or misrepresent your relationship with us.

We may restrict access to anyone who breaches these terms.

7. Links to other sites

This site links to third-party sites, including chess-organisation sources we cite and our own social media profiles. Those sites are not under our control. We provide the links for information and do not endorse or take responsibility for their content, accuracy or their handling of your information. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you visit them.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of it at any time, including for maintenance, without notice. We are not liable to you if the site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

The content on this site is provided for general information. While we take reasonable care to keep it accurate and up to date, we make no representations or warranties, express or implied, that it is accurate, complete or current. We may update these terms from time to time — for example when the product launches. The date at the top shows the current version, and the version in force is the one published here when you use the site. Please check back from time to time.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of them or your use of this website, are governed by Norwegian law. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply under the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the competent courts of your country of residence.

For disputes involving business users or other non-consumer users, the courts of Oslo, Norway shall have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
